Scout’s tip

Scout’s Kids Pass maths

Before you pay, look up the attractions you’d actually visit in the app and add up the savings. If they beat the membership cost, it’s worth it.

  • Set a reminder before any trial ends
  • Some deals exclude Saturdays or school holidays
  • Compare each deal with the attraction’s own online price

How Kids Pass works

You pay for a monthly or annual membership, then pick an offer in the app or on the website. Some deals give you a code to use when booking online, others a barcode to show on arrival. One membership covers the household.

What it covers

Offers have included theme parks such as Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Drayton Manor, zoos like Edinburgh Zoo and Yorkshire Wildlife Park, plus cinema tickets, dining and holiday parks. Offers change, so check the current list.

Trials and renewals

Kids Pass has offered low-cost trials in 2026. Trials usually roll into a paid membership unless you cancel, so read the renewal terms and set a reminder. Some employers and membership schemes include Kids Pass as a perk. It’s worth checking yours.

Is it worth it?

It tends to pay off for families who go out often and use the cinema and dining deals too. For one or two big days out a year, compare against rail 2FOR1, kids-go-free deals and other offers.
