Scout’s Disney verdict

Disney rewards planning more than any other day out. Under-3s are free, multi-day tickets cut the cost per day, and quieter dates are cheaper. Skip “secret code” sites: real Disney offers appear on Disney’s own website.

Best for: Ages 3–10 (and every grown-up fan)
Biggest saving: Multi-day tickets + off-peak dates
Watch out: Unofficial ticket sellers

Ways to save on Disney

Under-3s go free at Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
Buy more days. At the US parks the price per day drops the more days you buy.
Avoid peak dates. School holidays, Christmas and Halloween weekends cost the most.
Compare packages. Hotel-and-ticket packages sometimes include extras like free dining for children. Compare them with booking separately.
Buy from Disney or an authorised seller. Unofficial tickets can be invalid.

Frequently asked questions

Are there Disney discount codes?

Disney doesn’t generally publish public discount codes. Genuine offers are listed on Disney’s official websites and apply when you book eligible dates and packages. Be wary of websites promising secret codes.

Do children under 3 need a Disney ticket?

No. Children under 3 go free at Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

How many days do you need at Walt Disney World?

With four theme parks, most families plan at least four park days, and the price per day falls as you add days. Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Resort each have two parks, so two to three days works well.
