Indoor skydiving for kids and teens

Fly like a superhero, no plane required. Indoor skydiving uses a vertical wind tunnel to float you on air, and it’s surprisingly kid-friendly.

Scout’s tip

Scout’s flying tip

Flights are short (often a minute or two each), but it feels much longer. Buy two flights if you can: the second is when it clicks.

  • Check minimum age and weight rules
  • Wear trainers and comfy clothes
  • Arrive early for the training briefing

How it works

Fans blow air up a tall glass tunnel fast enough to lift you. You wear a flight suit, helmet and goggles, and an instructor flies alongside you, holding and guiding you.

Who can fly

Centres set minimum ages and maximum weights, and some have height rules. Many welcome young children with an instructor. Check your centre’s rules before booking.

Is it worth it?

It’s a pricier treat, so it makes a great experience gift or birthday day out. Find it in our adventure parks guide.
